Calculation of Easter
The Easter is a holiday so-called mobile: its date varies from year to year because it is correlated with the lunar cycle . The Passover and Easter Christians follow different rules of calculation and therefore are almost never the same day. Within Christianity then there are two different rules depending on whether you use the Gregorian calendar (Catholics and Protestants) or the Julian (Orthodox). These two rules in a few years give the same date (and therefore all Christians celebrate Easter on the same day, and the case this year - ed), different dates in other years.
follows roughly the Christian Easter and Jewish, but differs from that for two reasons: the first is that it is always celebrated on Sunday, the day of resurrection of Jesus, the second is that it is not used for calculating the Jewish calendar.
The rule fixing the date of Easter was established in 325 by the Christian Council of Nicaea: Easter falls on the Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox (March 21).
Consequently, it is always included in the period from March 22 to April 25. Assuming that in fact the first full moon of spring occurs on the day of ' same equinox (March 21) and is a Saturday, then Easter will have the very next day, or March 22. If, however, the full moon occurs on March 20, not until the next full moon (29 days), then getting to 18 April. Finally, if this day was a Sunday, then it will be necessary to fix the date of Easter Sunday even later, namely April 25.

Each section of the exhibition opens with a video interview with people whose ideas have revolutionized-marked-influenced throughout history. All these characters (from Aristotle to the Jedi knight, through Newton, Hubble and Bell) are facing the same questions on the conception of the universe, and it is interesting to hear and understand the answers to these questions have changed over the centuries.
Among these players there is just too Jocelyn Bell, who discovered the first pulsar astrophysics, and yet he did not see such an important scientific contribution recognized with the Nobel Prize, awarded instead to his teacher.
addition to the pulsar, this interview is therefore useful to discuss the difficulties, this unfortunately also in the scientific community to achieve full equality of opportunity between men and women.

As Matthew pointed out in previous posts, today all ' LHC has taken up a stone to important developments in physics in the coming years. It was 13:06
in Geneva when the two beams collided at high energy and huge detectors heard the faint signals originated from the myriad of particles resulting from the collision.
At the same moment, another much smaller detector and raw commenced operations also showing traces of ephemeral particles well beyond the human senses. Absolutely

:-) I would say that it works very well, every second showing numerous contrails very mixed, with many soft and straight, others with sudden detours, others very clear ee large. a real show!
